Sat, July 17, 2004 - 11:38 PMNope...when I heard that for the same $10 they were charging last year (which got you a couple of Red Hooks and some BBQ chicken) they were this year offering hotdogs and Rainier, I decide to boycott. I mean, I know it's a benefit for the station, but come on. I'm not standing in line for crap beer like Rainier for anyone.

it doesn't look like many people were there. I was thinking I might stop by, but I wasn't attracted by Rainier, Jones Soda, or hot dogs; when it started, I was holed up in the Mars Bar with a friend (and so ensconced, was not easily dislodged).
Anyone know who the person on the left is in this picture?

Tue, July 20, 2004 - 7:54 PMThe guy to John Richards' left in that pic is Kevin Cole. He also has a dayjob at Amazon, and is one of my favorite DJs there. You should volunteer for the pledge drives sometime, you get to chat with pretty much all the DJs at some point or another. :)
